Our Red Cedar Sign blanks are imported from Canada. They are made from laminated Westen Red Cedar with a highquality vertical grain and are just over 1.5inches thick.
Cedar has a high tannin content producing excellent weathering characterics. The timber also has a very short grain resulting in minimal checking and warping. Extremely durable for many years of use.

This timber is also ideal for sand blasting away the background to leave the letters raised. The letters can be left plain or coloured.The background can be treated for a rich finish or left untreated to weather to a beautiful silver grey colour.
