Superb quality made to order slate house signs and slate memorials. Slate is a beautiful natural material which is smooth but not highly polished, helping to show the grains and markings in the material. Because the slate is a natural material each bit of stone that is cut is truly unique and different. The slate we use for these signs is 20mm thick and can be cut to whatever size you require. You can also choose the font and paint colour including some Farrow and Ball colours, click here to see our standard colours. Images can also be included. As an interesting alternative we can creat the sign in reverse, first spraying the slate surface with hard wearing paint and then carving the letters. This is useful for signs with fine details, small text or line drawings.
