Diftwood Effect Wooden Signs in Oak, Iroko, Red Cedar or Sapele
Our drift effect wooden signs are very individual. Instead of engraving the letters we sand-blast away the background. This looks very effective and really shows the beautiful grain of the wood. The letter depth on the oak is only slight though, therefore if you wanted more of a raised letter look, we would suggest using iroko or red cedar. Both are full of oil and can even be left untreated. The sapele can be used if you are looking for a darker colour and it looks superb with ivory letters. To finish these signs we use Devon Oil.
