Opepe is an exceptionally strong and very durable timber which is full of its own oil making maintenance far less of a problem.  It is well known for use as decking in jetties and docks as well as boat building.

The heartwood has an orange hue whereas the sapwood more golden. It all has a very vibrant appearance with a copper coloured lustre. The opepe we use comes from  well-managed, ecologically responsible sources.

The timber is approx. 25mm thick.
