Lakeland Green Slate Memorials - 20mm thick

These slate memorials are quite unique being made from a green slate which is quarried from a very small quarry in the Lake District. When we say small we really mean it - just a father and son working the quarry. The slate is not only incredibly beautiful but it is also hard and weathers very well. 

It is 20mm thick and can be cut to whatever size you require. You can also choose the font and paint colour including some Farrow and Ball colours, click here to see our standard colours. There is also gold and silver which would look amazing on this slate. Images and photographs can also be included.

We have a range of standard images to choose from and an in-house designer, who can source you an image if you have something specific in mind. Alternatively, you can upload your own image or good-quality photograph for us to engrave. Images and photographs with lots of fine details will be laser etched to ensure a clean, crisp finish.
