Laser Etched Slate Plaques - 12mm thick

We can use our powerful lasers to etch wording and images onto the surface of the slate. This is ideal for detailed images or wording too small to deep engraved into the slate. It also works out more cost effective with a lot of text. 

Slate is a beautiful natural material which is smooth but not highly polished, helping to show the grains and markings in the material. Because the slate is a natural material each bit of stone that is cut is truly unique and different. The slate we use for these plaques is 10 - 12mm thick, and can be cut to whatever size you require. You can also choose the font (lettering style) and an Image if required. Thick slate can also be used if required - ask for a quote.

The sand-blasted edge border is an attractive option to be considered. If you would like a different border please write this in the notes box and we will let you know the extra cost before proceeding.

Please note that our lasered slate signs are not deep engraved like our traditional slate signs. While lasering is still a very effective method is is not always 100% visible when wet.
