These hangman posts can be made from painted hardwood or softwood, and are ideal for hanging signs. The post is 2.4m or 2.7m high and the arm length is made to suit the sign which you intend to hang from it.   We use the hardwood Sapele for painting as it is strong and stable.

This 8ft / 9ft hardwood post with hanging arm mortised in can be made in Oak or Iroko (similar to teak, but sustainable). Stainless steel fittings included. The wrought iron bracket is an optional extra for very heavy signs.
