A selection of beautiful natural oak backing boards which are treated with a commercial satin varnish or a natural oil. All backing boards need to be 25mm larger than the plaque. *

With these plaques we can laser away the background leaving the letters raised.  For added impact, we can engraved away background for for part of the plaque and engrave the lettering on the rest.

Anodised aluminium is known to be both long-lasting and durable. It's clean appearance can be maintained over the course of its lifespan, making it a good choice for memorial plaques. A good alternative to the more traditional engraved plaque.

Douglas Fir is a softwood but it is tough and water resistant, which makes it useful in exposed situations where maintenance is difficult. A good timber for larger wooden memorials.
