Glass & Pewter TankardsOf all the pewter gifts we sell, the pewter tankard is one of the most popular, somehow synonymous as a special present, particularly for men. No reason though why it can not be for women. We do have a lot of choice with the tankards. Firstly there are various sizes, mainly 1 pint or half-pint, but there is also the 2-pint tankard and some miniatures. All are highly polished and do not tarnish with age.

Care of Pewter
Pewter is very fine for everyday use but should never be washed in a dishwasher. The chemicals in the detergents can ruin the polished finish. Simply was by hand in hot soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. When drying use an up and down motion - not circular.
