In our experience, customers are often looking for something slightly different to one another, which is why we chose to specialise in bespoke signage and memorials in the first place. Though some like the highly polished finish that we can achieve with black granite. They have a simple elegance that is hard to compete with, and a subtle beauty that makes these pieces a popular choice. 

Given the amount that can be achieved with a granite memorial, these pieces are great value for money and they have proven themselves to be a good choice. 

These granite memorials can also be attached to wrought iron tree stake with one or two spikes depending on size.

Choose from a wide range of fonts with lots of letter colour choices . Images can also be included.

Photo Etching

It is possible to add a good quality photo to the black granite memorials using a technique known as impact engraving. This option is available at a cost of £34.50

An alternative is to have a full colour weatherproof photo plaque inlaid into the granite.   Click here for details.

Laser Etching vs Impact Engraving
On small plaques where the text is below 12mm, deep engraving is not possible so we either Laser Etch or Impact Engrave.  Laser etching produces a clean, sharp-edged finish.. Impact engraving creates a deeper mark that can be paint filled, providing greater contrast and visibility.
