Reverse Lasered Hardwood Sign with Border

These are hardwood signs with a completely different look. The background of the design is lasered three times which darkens the wood leaving the lettering and the border untouched, lighter and slightly raised. 

Which timber to use?
Sapele gives the best contrast between lasered and unlasered timber
Oak is a beautiful timber with a beautiful grain.
Iroko is full of its own oil so is easier to maintain.

Simple shaping is available if required. A curved top, rounded ends, circular or oval are all options but for other simple shapes - write your ideas in the notes box.

The carpenters finish the edge with a straight cut although a small routered edge can be cut if required.

Choose from a wide range of fonts - however these signs look best with a bold font . Images can also be included.
