We have, in our yard large amounts of slate for signs. However the 30mm thick slate is also ideal for slate hearths, counter tops, butchers block tops and bar tops.

We have a range of standard sizes but we can cut a piece down to any size you required. 

We can send it to you in various ways.

1.  Just cut - ready for you to sand and finish.
2. Top and sides sanded - finished with oil
3. Top and sides sanded, top edges bevelled with rounded or 45 degree bevel.

To make your hearth or bar top completely unique we are able to sand blast a pattern in one or more of the corners. This be painted in one of many colours or left unpainted as required. We have a large range of standard images or you can ask our designer to find something suitable or send in your own image.

Slate is heavy and most bar tops and hearths will arrive on a pallet.

If you live in the south west you might want to consider picking up the slate. We do give a £50 discount if you do as well as there being no carriage charges.
