Here at The Sign Maker our carpenters can make virtually any trophy or taxidermy shield to any shape and out of any timber. Our shields are made out of solid wood not veneer as are many cheaper counterparts. We make the wooden shields in oak or sapele. The oak can be natural, dark stained or black. The 19mm oak shields are only suitable for indoor use whereas the 24mm can be used outdoors. The sapele shields are a deep red colour, similar to mahogany and are suitable for outdoor or indoor use.
