Sweet Chestnut can be an interesting alternative to oak. With its high tannin  content it makes for a very durable wood sign. The grain of the timber is very similar to that of oak, with a fairly dense grain.

This timber can be left untreated and in most cases will weather down to a beautiful silver grey colour. Alternatively you can choose to treat your sign with any of our treatment options.

You can make your wooden sign truly unique with a wide selection of fonts and images to choose from.
